U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced a new web-based, bilingual, and smartphone compatible appointment scheduler for noncitizens, called the ICE Appointment Scheduler, available at www.ice.gov/check-in. The launch of this tool will allow noncitizens to schedule their required check-in appointments at ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) offices as they await immigration proceedings. Previously, appointments had to be made via phone or in person.
"The ICE Appointment Scheduler is a crucial innovation that will make it easier for noncitizens to check in with ICE, as required, and allow ICE to more efficiently process these individuals as they await immigration proceedings," said ICE Acting Director Tae Johnson. "This new scheduling tool will help ICE continue to build a fair, orderly, and humane immigration system."
Noncitizens can create an appointment online using information found on their I-385 form, thus eliminating the need to wait on the phone or travel to an ICE office to make an appointment on awalk-in basis.
Noncitizens can schedule their appointments online in English or Spanish.
